Roger Olofsson

Roger Olofsson has been appointed as Managing Director of Asia Pacific with the responsibility to lead NP Group's further expansion in the Asia Pacific region. Roger has more than 13 years' technology recruitment experience in Asia. Most recently he was responsible for building a technology search practice for an Asia Pacific based specialist search and recruitment consultancy. Prior to that, Roger spent over ten years with Robert Walters where he was tasked to start its technology contract recruitment offering in Singapore from ground up and subsequently managed all permanent and contract service offerings across all technology practices. He started his recruitment career with GMP, a regional recruitment firm based in Singapore, where he gained experience in engineering permanent and IT contract recruitment. Roger has a Master of Science degree in Industrial Management and Engineering with specialisation in Computer Science from Lulea University of Technology in Sweden. With 15 years' experience in Asia operating out of Singapore Roger has built a wide reaching network at senior level, has in-depth understanding of the IT and telecommunications sectors in the region and has acquired experience in building businesses from start up to operational management of large technology practices. His recruitment experience spans executive search, permanent specialist technology recruitment and contract recruitment covering APAC.
